ONDC is a network based on open protocols. In April 2022, ONDC was launched in five cities namely Bangalore, Delhi, Shillong, Bhopal and Coimbatore. This was its alpha pilot project. Means the very initial stage. After this it was started in about 200 more cities. This is being called a beta pilot. Many major online selling platforms are available on ONDC. Here buyers and sellers get many shopping platforms in one place. Its user base has also increased in the last few months.
