UP: Man arrested after a police raid at illegal arms factory in Ghaziabad

A man was arrested after a raid was conducted at an illegal arms manufacturing factory in Ghaziabad on May 7.
The police have also seized various illegal arms from the accused’s possession. Apart from illegal weapons, the police also recovered equipment used for making weapons.
“Acting on information received during checking at Tila Shahbazpur village in the area of Police Station Loni border, the police arrested 1 accused Farid. 11 illegal pistols, 14 illegal half-made pistols, equipment for making pistols etc. have been found from it. Another accused Sarfaraz absconded, the search is on. Five cases of robbery and the Arms Act are already registered against Farid. Strict action will be taken in the matter,” said Ravi Kumar, DCP Rural, Ghaziabad.
