Prince William 'praying for the weather' ahead of Coronation

The Prince of Wales has revealed the royals are "praying for the weather" in the hope of sunshine for Saturday's Coronation, as skies looked stormy over London.

Attending a reception for realm prime ministers and governors general at Buckingham Palace, Prince William could be heard saying: "We're praying for the weather tomorrow, we need a bit of sunshine tomorrow please.
