Jobseeker boost expected for over 55s but not all

The Albanese Government appears set to resist calls including from its own backbench for an across-the-board increase to Jobseeker. Instead, it will boost the payment for over-55s who struggle to find jobs even in times of ultra-low unemployment. But the treasurer says that won't be the only help for households.
