Deutsche Technikmuseum, is one of Europe's largest Technology museum in Berlin, Germany. It has every year approximately 500k visitors and is one of Berlin`s most visited Museums.
The museum opened in 1983 with a part of the exhibition and has grown now to a huge museum with an exhibition area of more than 25.000 sqm.
On this areal, there are hosted several exhibitions about airfare travel, boats/seatravel, car travel, railways, news technology, printing technology, informatics and much more.
Most exhibitions display the history of the planes, boats, cars, etc. since the 20th century until today.
Many objects are displayed in real life size or famous prototype objects like entire planes, ships, locomotives, engines, cars etc. can be seen.
A focus is set on the history of technology development as well as on technology in its socio cultural ambience.
