Members of The Public and Commercial Services Union have gone on a national strike today in a bid to receuve a pay rise that matches the level of inflation.
Dave Hansford, the PCS branch chair, said that there needs to be an increase for staff because the rate of pay is dramatically impacting the staff at the Portsmouth branch of HMRC.
