Bruce Lehrmann cleared to sue multiple media outlets

Former liberal staffer Bruce Lehrmann has been granted an extension of time to sue two media companies over interviews with Brittany Higgins in which she alleged she had been raped at Parliament house. The Federal court has accepted it would not have been reasonable to expect the civil action to be lodged before all criminal matters were resolved.
