Migrants of different nationalities try to cross the Chile-Peru border while police officers hold them back. Peruvian president, Dina Boluarte, decreed a state of emergency at its borders and ordered the deployment of the military to reinforce controls in the face of the arrival of migrants, most of whom left from Chile.
