President Joe Biden has officially thrown in his hat into the 2024 presidential race.
Making the announcement through an a-little-over-three-minute video uploaded on his YouTube channel, the president said, “personal freedom is fundamental to who we are as Americans," adding that that has been the work of his first term.
"This shouldn't be a red or blue issue," the president said in a bid to make his bid more inclusive and draw bipartisan support. He also highlighted the need to protect rights and to ensure everyone is treated equally and everyone has a fair shot at making it.
