In this Video we visit the Home of India's Best Wildlife Film Maker Sumesh Lekhi and discuss his Aquarium and touch on topics of wildlife, environment, conservation, how children should be exposed to nature and a lot more
We also Discuss how the aquarium houses all adopted fish that people generally are not aware how big they grow when they buy and don't know what to do when the fish become too big for the tank
We also address topics where how we humans are polluting the rivers and the sea with our garbage and sewage and how the fish in these natural habitats are suffering
Here Sumesh also Talks about his latest movie "WetLands - Miracles in Mumbai" that is being aired on #Epic TV
We also discuss how Sumesh has proved that children should be sensitised to nature by teaching his 12 year old son Vihaan to make a DIY Aquarium Sump Filter using Filter floss.
Vihaan is also involved in the maintenance and cleaning of the aquarium and is also training to be a filmmaker.
Finally Sumesh tells us how important it is to go on wildlife trips or even in your own backyard and enjoy what nature has to offer and intern get sensitised to the nature around you

Brief about Sumesh Lekhi
A Chartered Accountant, involved since 2010 in conservation of wetlands, especially in the Oshiwara Lokhandwala Belt in Mumbai, India and recently we have made a conservation film “Bastion of the Giants”. The film is a conservation story of the Asian Elephant and how a nation steeped in spirituality that is born out of nature will have to rise up to the task of protecting India’s wild heritage, Bastion of the Giants” presents a unique experience of a picturesque wetland canvas and the spectacular wildlife in it and how protection of flagship and keystone wildlife species, by forest departments and governments with support of local people and researchers, leads to the conservation of a diaspora of fauna and flora, ultimately leading to the preservation of human life itself.
