The death and resurrection of Jesus (pbuh) is a significant event in both Islam and Christianity, but there are some differences in how the two religions view it.

In Christianity, the death and resurrection of Jesus are considered the cornerstone of the Christian faith. Christians believe that Jesus was crucified, died, and was buried, but he rose again from the dead on the third day. They believe that this event is proof of Jesus' divinity and that it is the means by which salvation is possible.

In Islam, while Jesus is also a revered prophet, Muslims reject the idea of his death on the cross. According to the Islamic belief, Jesus was not crucified but instead raised up to heaven by Allah. Muslims believe that someone else was made to resemble Jesus and was crucified in his place. This belief is based on the Qur'an which states that "they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but they thought they did."

However, Muslims do believe in the resurrection of Jesus in a spiritual sense. Muslims believe that Jesus will return to earth near the end of times, as a just ruler and will lead the believers in defeating the Antichrist.

In summary, while both Islam and Christianity recognize the significance of the death and resurrection of Jesus (pbuh), they differ in their understanding of the events themselves.
