In this awe-inducing video, the filmer, named Ben, shows how to use 'chemistry' to cook a hot dog in the blink of an eye.
For this purpose, he uses a mixture known as 'Thermate.'
"Thermate is a military-grade version of thermite and it has a few extra ingredients added to it that allow it to burn more effectively," he explained to us. "Thermate is one of the hottest burning man-made substances on the planet, reaching up to a staggering 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit."
Circling back to the hot dog experiment, Thermate not only blazingly burns the sausage, but ends up destroying the cooking vessel too.
