While talking to media persons over caste-based census to be conducted in the state, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on April 17 said that we along with other political parties have always been demanding it. Today it is being conducted which is highly beneficial.

He said, “We have been demanding to conduct caste-based census. All parties in Bihar had the same view when we decided to have a caste-based census and it is currently being conducted in the state. I have also taken part in this. It is highly beneficial.”
