Jamie Foxx is recovering after being hospitalized in Atlanta for a “medical complication”, according to a statement from his family.
In a statement posted to Instagram, Foxx’s daughter Corinne said he is “already on his way to recovery” thanks to “quick action and great care”.
Foxx acknowledged that her father is “beloved” and said the family “appreciates your prayers” but would like some privacy.
The nature of the medical issue is unknown but Foxx was in Atlanta filming a Netflix movie with Cameron Diaz.
