Are you familiar with Anita Bryant from the 60s and 70s and her anti-gay activism? One thing I remember is a saying at that time was if God wanted man to be gay, he would have created Adam and Steve and gay no way Anita woman. While as a straight man and a Christian, I don't understand their lifestyle I also agree that God wants us to love one another. She just went about it the wrong way. Instead of crusading to condemn being gay she should've prayed for their salvation and continued on with her life. It cost her a fortune.
