Junior doctors across the West Midlands have begun strike action. The strikes are over pay and the British Medical Association said junior doctors have faced a cut of more than 25% to their salaries since 2008. Emergency departments at the affected hospitals are open, but waiting times may be longer than normal.

West Midlands Police revealed that they have seized over 500 weapons & made more than 500 arrests in the 12 months up to February 2023 across Sandwell. They also recovered millions of pounds worth of drugs.

West Midlands Railway have announced a significant change to timetables on the Snow Hill lines from 21st May. The changes affect services between Stratford-upon-Avon, Snow Hill and Worcester. More information is available of the West Midlands Railway website.
