Crystal or Burst??? - Soap bubble left to freeze at -28° *Timelapse*

  • last year
It's hard to keep the heart warm in a cold world, and this freezing bubble timelapse is an interesting representation of the same.

This fascinating video features Heath McAllister experimenting with soap bubbles at -28°C and testing out ways for them not to burst under the influence of the ice forming in them.

And interestingly, she ends up achieving her goal and tells us how she was able to do it.

"Bubbles are an extremely thin film of soap and water and freeze in this low temperature, except they don’t crystallize as they did in this video," the filmer told WooGlobe. "The secret ingredient in this bubble recipe is a bit of sugar that allows for this beautiful progressing crystal structure to form."
