The government of Pakistan has decided to send all pilgrims who have submitted applications for Hajj this year. According to a tweet shared by PML-N's Twitter handle, "This year, the quota for Haj under the regular scheme was 44190, 72869 applications were submitted." However, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has announced that "on the direction of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, all pilgrims will be sent to the Holy Hijaz without drawing lots."
