Padma Awardees hail Centre for choosing people from ground level for Padma awards

‘Super 30’ fame Anand Kumar and Social worker Gajanan Jagannath Mane were conferred Padma Shri Award on April 5.

After receiving the awards, Padma Awardees hailed the ruling party for developing a ray of hope among the public to do good work. They also said that they are happy that the government is choosing people from ground level for Padma awards.

Founder of Super 30 educational programme, Anand Kumar who received the Padma Shri award said, “People from the ground level are getting awards. This will work as an encouragement for the youth. This act of government is also developing a ray of hope among the public that if they will do good work they will surely get awarded."

Padma Awardee Gajanan Jagannath Mane, a Social worker who received the Padma Shri award, said “I am happy that this government is choosing people from the ground level for the Padma awards. I very much appreciate the efforts taken by the present government”
