A man spent £44k years building a house in the shape of a flying PLANE in memory of his brother.

Kamaljit Singh Wahid, who lived in London, dreamed of owning a plane, so decided to build himself a home which looked like one instead, his family said.

He started to build the home - which is 70ft long and is reached by climbing 40ft stairs - but died aged 62, in 2016, before it was complete.

His brother Satapl Singh Wahid, 56, took on the build, and finished the home, which looks like a real plane flying through the air.

Now Satapl and his family live in the home - which has a bathroom, kitchen, lounge and two bedrooms - in Phagwara, India.

As a tribute to his brother, the plane - which has circle windows and wings - has his name, Kamaljit Singh Wahid, painted on the side, along with an Indian flag.
