Dogecoin’s price surged roughly 30 percent on Monday after Twitter removed the app’s blue bird logo and changed it to a Shiba Inu dog. The cryptocurrency, which was forged in 2013 as a satire of cryptocurrency, surged from 7 cents to 10 cents, and its market capitalization rose from about $10 billion to $13.7 billion following the logo change. A federal court has brought a $258 billion class-action lawsuit against him, alleging that he participated in a pyramid scheme by promoting the crypto coin. On Friday, Musk requested that a U.S. judge throw the case out.
