The young knight, Gilbert, is related to the Bishop of Herfort, and Baron Alwine uses this as a pretext to force him to kidnap Marian so that he can get his hands on her gold crucifix that is said to contain a priceless secret. However, the crucifix was lost by Marian when she fainted during the attack on her carriage. It is later found by Much, only to be then confiscated by Little John who, in turn, gives it to his new love, Winifred. Gilbert sees Winifred wearing the crucifix, mistakes her for Marian, and thus kidnaps her instead. Then, by chance, he meets the real Marian, falls in love, and kidnaps her too.
Ep.8 A MAD RUN TOWARDS NOTTINGHAM !
Robin and Will set out for Nottingham to rescue Marian and Winifred. Along the way, they run into Little John and Much who join the expedition with their (crucial) war cart, and together, they set out to do battle with the enemy. However, much to their dismay, Baron Alwine has a surprise up his sleeve: a fire-breathing dragon,"" which he uses to force our heroes into retreat.

Robin and Little John have a falling out over their mode of attack on the supply trains passing through Sherwood Forest, and so decide to go their separate ways in their attempt to free Marian and Winifred. After a close encounter with the Baron's guards, Robin and Will then meet up with Ed and Chris, two youths who turn out to be very useful in their cause.
