"Christmas is always about magical moments and today was the best ever" were the first words John Lawrence wrote after receiving a wholesome Christmas surprise.

The footage kicks off with John entering his living room and getting confused after seeing plenty of presents on the floor.

Little does he know that his real gift is right behind him. He had no idea that his daughter and grandkids had flown in to spend Christmas with him.

The moment he turns around and sees everyone is beyond enchanting. It's easy to tell from John's reaction how much he had missed his munchkins.

"Our daughter and our grandkids surprised us for Christmas as this was the first time they had been able to come to Nova Scotia to enjoy the holidays," he shared with WooGlobe. "It was truly magical."
