Rahul Gandhi fighting for rights of people of India: Mallikarjun Kharge during ‘Sankalp Satyagrah’

Congress party held ‘Sankalp Satyagraha’ at Raj Ghat, Delhi on March 26. Addressing the protest, Congress’ National President Mallikarjun Kharge, said that Congress is holding ‘Satyagraha’ at Gandhi Smarak as Rahul Gandhi is fighting for the nation, and for people’s rights. He said, “BJP is not letting Rahul Gandhi speak. Rahul Gandhi is fighting for the nation, and for the right of the public and we will not stop. Today we are going to the Gandhi Smarak and will do Satyagraha there.” Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Manickam Tagore, Party General Secretary KC Venugopal and several other party leaders joined the protest. Rahul Gandhi, on March 24, was disqualified as a member of the Lok Sabha, a day after a Surat court sentenced him for two-years imprisonment in a defamation case filed against him over his 'Modi surname' remark.
