Scientists Say Increasing Number of Satellites Pose 'Unprecedented Global Threat' On Earth

Since just 2019, the number of satellites in orbit has more than doubled. And aside from that area in Earth’s atmosphere quickly becoming cluttered with a higher possibility of a collision, it's the light pollution they’re worried about. According to the report, if things continue, even in the planet’s darkest corners, they expect the night sky to brighten by 7.5% over the next decade. Veuer’s Tony Spitz has the details.
