Amritpal singh has been arrested by the Punjab Police. The fugitive pro-Khalistan leader was arrested by the Shahkot police, Imaan Singh Khara, the legal advisor to Waris Punjab De claimed on March 19. Punjab Police said that Amritpal Singh is on the run and efforts are being made to nab him. Imaan Singh Khara also alleged that the police want to kill Singh in a ‘fake encounter’, reported ANI. Advocate Khara has approached Punjab and Haryana High Court and filed a writ petition. Amritpal Singh’s uncle and driver surrendered on March 20.
