  • last year
Hundreds of thousands of dead fish have been found in the Darling River at Menindee in the far west of New South Wales. Bony bream make up the vast majority of the fish species found so far however a large amount of Cod and Golden Perch have also been spotted by locals. Although it is not established if the situation will get worse the department of fisheries is dispatching officers to the town to assess the problem.
