J&K: Tribal siblings qualify for MBBS programme at AIIMS in first attempt

Two tribal siblings from the remote hilly village of Dhanore in the Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir qualified in the MBBS programme at AIIMS in their first attempts without any coaching.

They qualified for the programme without any coaching, and her sister also cleared the same exam last year. These siblings are the first to graduate in the MBBS programme at AIIMS in the Rajouri district.

Their mother is an Anganwadi worker for the social welfare department in Rajouri, who gets pay of Rs 4000 a month. They overcame all obstacles in life and became MBBS doctors at AIIMS.

After qualifying as doctors, the District Administration and LG Government both presented certificates to Irm Shamim. He was also certified by the Indian Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
