BIR files against “ghost companies” issue fake receipts

Bureau of Internal Revenue Commissioner Romeo D. Lumagui, Jr. led the filing of criminal complaints before the Department of Justice against four "ghost corporations" causing the government to lose an estimated 25.5 billion in taxes. They are in violation of Sections 254, 255, and 267 of the National Internal Revenue Code of 1997, as amended (Tax Code). (MB Video by Arnold Quizol)
