Can't decide between a sedan and an SUV? The all-new 2023 Toyota Crown may be the ideal vehicle for you.

The all-new 2023 Toyota Crown brings bold style to the top of the Toyota sedan lineup. With a hybrid powertrain, massive wheels, a flowing silhouette, unique paint options, and an upscale cabin, it is a ride that is ready to stand out from the crowd.

The 2023 Crown will be available in XLE, Limited, and Platinum trim levels. Toyota Crown will offer a choice of two different hybrid powertrains: HYBRID MAX or the fourth-generation Toyota Hybrid System.

The top-spec Platinum model gets Toyota’s new Hybrid Max setup, which pairs a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor on the rear axle for a combined 340 horsepower.

The XLE and Limited models get a less powerful 236 hp hybrid system that uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and three electric motors.

The XLE and Limited have a continuously variable automatic transmission while the Platinum uses a six-speed automatic; all-wheel drive is standard on every trim.

With the base powertrain, the Crown's acceleration is adequate and Toyota estimates it'll hit 60 mph in a perfectly acceptable 7.6 seconds. The Platinum trim, with its more powerful setup, is noticeably brisker and its 5.7-second launch to 60-mph estimate is believable.

The Toyota Crown comes well-equipped at a Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starting at $39,950 for the XLE grade, $45,550 for the Limited grade, and $52,350 for the Platinum grade.
