A National Express drivers union announced that they would be going on strike indefinitely from March 16. Some 3,000 drivers with the bus service voted in favour of the industrial action after talks with National Express West Midlands broke down on Monday.

City Council Leader Ian Ward who holds the transport portfolio at West Midlands Combined Authority has spoke out about HS2 delays, saying the region faces betrayal and mockery. The delays to HS2 comes as the government is expected to find £2 billion more to fund the first London to Birmingham stretch alone.

The Crooked House in Himley - subbed Britain's wonkiest pub - is set to go on sale amid fears it could be closed for good after 192 years. The pub has attracted visitors from across the world due to its unique leaning effect which causes several illusions.
