President Bongbong Marcos says the government will speed up oil spill clean up efforts in Oriental Mindoro and hopes that it may only take less than four months.

Residents are now getting sick in areas affected by the oil spill.

And concerns were raised over the oil spill's impact on marine biodiversity and tourist sites.
