A council in the North of Victoria has been sacked in the wake of a damning report which suggested the murder of a Senior Manager could have been prevented. The Moira Shire Council's Manager of Operations, Rick Devlin, was murdered in 2021 by Andrew Robert Paterson, a council employee who was falsely accused of stealing kerosene.
