U.S. Says it Will Advance Rights of Women Across the Globe

The United States says it is committed to "protecting and advancing the rights of women," even though the right to an abortion in the U.S. has been stripped away by the Supreme Court.

Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the U.S ambassador to the U.N. made the comments to reporters at the U.N. ahead of her appearance at the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women in New York.
