Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon's home was searched by police after deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the area late Monday night. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office received reports of a juvenile being shot on Ayers Road near the Coldstream Country Club in Anderson Township at around 8:30 p.m.. Two homes were taped off by deputies, one of which is listed as Joe Mixon’s home. Police surrounded Mixon's home and were seen entering it at around 1:40 a.m..
No arrests were made and the scene has since been cleared. Mixon's sister, Shalonda Mixon, says that he was not involved in the shooting of the juvenile. However, his involvement, if any, is unknown at this time.
Five weeks ago, an arrest warrant was issued for Mixon for aggravated menacing for an incident on Jan. 19 when he was accused of pointing a gun at a woman in downtown Cincinnati and telling her, “You should be popped in the face. I should shoot you now. The police “can’t” get me,” according to WKRC.
