The South Australian Liberal Party has ruled out setting enforceable gender quotas, instead opting to adopt targets in its attempt to increase the number of women in state parliament. The Liberals want women to make up 50 per cent of their elected MPs by 2034, but critics say the plan doesn't go far enough.
