A company in Manchester recently permanently adopted a four-day work week after the huge success of a sixth-month trial.

Multiple companies around the country have been trialling similar schemes to figure out what benefits a four-day work week could bring to staff and the business.

Data collected from Environmental Consultancy Tyler Grange shows its staff were 14% happier and 28% less tired after reducing their working days from five to four, and the company was producing 102% more work.

A four-day work week allows more time for life admin and scheduling odd jobs to free up your weekend, and arguably creates a more productive and focused work environment.
