A driver has been left embarrassed after her vehicle became stuck at a KFC drive-through because her interlock device would not work.

The Victorian mother pulled up to the drive-through section of the fast food restaurant to order a meal.

She was then reminded that she needed to blow into her interlock device in order to continue driving her car.'

Interlock devices are electronic breath-testing devices which link to the ignition system of cars, motorcycles and heavy vehicles.

A driver must return a blood alcohol reading of zero in order to start the car and regularly negative submit breath samples or else the engine will turn off.

The driver apologized profusely as she tried to breathe into her interlock device several times while stuck at the drive-through.

Her passenger recorded the embarrassing incident while laughing uncontrollably.

'F***, I'm so sorry dude,' the driver said. 'It usually doesn't take me this long. You're making me nervous.'

The KFC worker reassures the woman over speaker that she is fine and offers her words of encouragement.

'You're all right, you've got his,' he said.

The driver blows into the interlock device one last time before it finally beeps and begins working again.

She then apologized again to the fast food worker.

'You're not telling everyone are you?' the driver asked.

A colleague then reassured the woman through the speaker everything was fine and that she happened to know someone who also had an interlock in their car.

Footage of the incident was shared on TikTok where social media users were quick to praise the KFC worker for his supportive comments.

'Supportive king lmao,' one person wrote.

Others told the driver to not worry because they had been in similar situations.

'I feel your pain. I've got one too,' one wrote.

Another added: 'Relax we've all stuffed up in life'.
