We discuss how to structure an investment portfolio. We present the types of investments including stocks, bonds, and funds and how we sift through various candidates to choose ones that are right for us. Types of investing such as buy and hold and trading over shorter time horizons are discussed.

We begin the blog with a reminder that tending to your investments should not be so time consuming that it takes away for more important aspect of your life. The point of investing is to make your life better not make you a slave to it.
