On World Spay Day, the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) offered a free ”kapon" procedure to indigent pet owners on Tuesday, February 28 at PAWS Animal and Rehabilitation Center in Aurora Blvd, Quezon City. According to PAWS, spaying of pets provides numerous health benefits and will reduce the number of unwanted pets and homeless animals. Neuter or castration procedure was also offered to male cats and male dogs during the animal welfare event. (MB Video by Mark Balmores)
