Branham Cult Attacks Our YouTube Channel

  • last year
In 2018, we began publishing a series of documentaries about William Branham and the healing revivals that exposed some very critical information about William Branham and other key figures. At the time in which we were starting to release the more sinister information, a sophisticated attack on our website, YouTube site, and hardware took place, resulting in the removal of all YouTube videos.

It was a coordinated attack. One person in Branham’s “Message” cult initiated the copyright strike. Within minutes, we received notice that another cult member did the same from another country. While this was taking place, Dropbox accounts were also compromised, and a specific Dropbox folder was emptied from two Dropbox accounts. Fortunately, all of the research data was backed up. YouTube’s policy, however, is that with three copyright strikes, the site is taken offline for legal action.

Since that attack, my conversations with my attorney have led to the conclusion that this was a malicious and unjustified attack. All of our content is presented for the purposes of teaching, discussion, news reporting, and parody and is allowed without permission according to the Fair Use section of United States Copyright Law.

We have now reached the same point in our podcast in which we discuss the more sinister things going on in William Branham’s ministry. It should come as no surprise that last night, the same person in William Branham’s cult of personality initiated the same copyright strike process. The individual has claimed copyright on the black-and-white photograph of William Branham’s “halo”. The individual submitted exactly three videos for copyright removal, knowing that YouTube would bring the entire video channel offline.

In our opinion, this looks to be an attack of malicious intent. Not only are the videos covered by the Fair Use clause, the individual does not own the copyright in question. The copyright is held by Theodore J. Kipperman, owner of Douglas Studios in Houston, Texas.

In the upcoming weeks, we will be investigating what damages, if any, are associated with this malicious attack.
