Sosco to provide RM600-per-month incentives to employers who employ 17,000 TVET graduates

When tabling Budget 2023 at the Dewan Rakyat on Friday, Prime Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said sosco will provide RM600-per-month incentives to employers who employ 17,000 TVET graduates for three months in addition to the salary offered.
RM45mil is provided for this purpose.
In order to promote hiring TVET graduates, the government will have a pilot model involving Federal TVET institutions with a target of 50 companies, mainly from among GLCs.
