ईवीएम भंडाफोड़ यात्रा के मौके पर बामसेफ के अध्यक्ष वामन मेश्राम ने कहा कि उत्तरप्रदेश में मायावती की पूर्ण बहुमत की सरकार भी ईवीएम से बनवाई गई, जिससे बसपा कोई विरोध ही न कर सके इस व्यवस्था का। ईवीएम के आने के बाद हर जगह पूर्ण बहुमत की सरकारें बनना इस बात को समझने के लिए काफी है कि इसमें बहुत कुछ गड़बड़ी है। वामन मेश्राम ने कई तर्क ईवीएम के विरोध में देकर लोगों को इसके खिलाफ लामबंद होने की अपील की।
