Long-awaited flood mitigation projects announced for NSW Northern Rivers

Long-awaited funding for basic flood mitigation works in the Northern Rivers, has been confirmed by the federal government. A series of the projects, recommended by the CSIRO, are the first to be funded in a 150 million dollar commitment to a region still recovering from last year's disaster.
