New Finas chairman may be announced within a week, says Fahmi

A new chairman for the National Film Development Corporation (Finas) might be announced within a week, said Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil.
The Communications and Digital Minister said in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (Feb 23), adding that the appointment was important given the present vacancy in the Compulsory Screening Committee in Finas.
At the same time, Fahmi also said a chairman for the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commissions (MCMC) will be announced soon.
