1928 Nat Shilkret (as The Troubadours) - The Man I Love

The iconic Gershwin torch song, played here at a perky dance tempo! There were two different takes of this tune issued commercially on Victor 21233. This Take #5 featured an opening clarinet lead while on Take #4 a violin is heard, Shilkret did also record a slow version for Victor as conductor of The Victor Salon Orchestra.
