  • last year
Melissa Sorokin sees herself as "a bee advocate," passionate about helping whenever possible to rescue the at-risk creatures that play such a critical role in biodiversity. She clears bees from people's homes in Miami without killing them but blows smoke intead onto the bees to calm them down before removing them. "We try to not exterminate them, to come in anyway and do something different, do the alive bee removal," she says.
