A five-judge bench of the Supreme Court on February 17 deferred the plea of referring the case to a larger bench in the Shiv Sena rift case.
Speaking to ANI, Siddharth Shinde said, “Today, the Supreme Court has decided that it has rejected Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray Shiv Sena’s demand for reference to seven judges. They have said, there is no need for reference and they have said from February 21, they will hear the matter on regular basis, in which Nabam Rebia can also be raised along with other issues on the merit.”
