With its bustling nightlife, shopping centres, restaurant scene and an array of museums, the area was recently named as one of the most desirable places to live in the UK by Comparethemarket.
The price comparison site looked at google searches and found Manchester was the most searched-for location to relocate to behind London.
With this in mind we wanted to find out what local people think about our city-region and their favourite thing about Manchester.
