Calling India an emerging power in the field of defence manufacturing and self-reliance, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari on February 14 in Bengaluru said that the Indian Air Force is well on its way towards transforming into an Aerospace Force. The Air Chief Marshal also called aircraft like BrahMos and more a testimony of India’s advancement in the defence field. The Air Chief Marshal was addressing IAF’s ‘INDISEM-23’ seminar in Bengaluru. India is hosting five-day Aero India 2023 show in Bengaluru with the aim to showcase India’s growth in aerospace and defence capabilities. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 13.
